Breast cancer is life – threatening disease and every women faces with this serious risk. Every day medical experts are doing their best in lowering that risk and avoid the appearance of this illness.As a matter of fact, people sometimes are doing certain things and unconsciously increase the chances of developing breast cancer, among other many other diseases.
Team of researchers at Kaiser Permanente conducted a study where were included women that are diagnosed with breast cancer. These women consumed a diet rich in full – fat dairy have an increased risk of dying compared to those women diagnosed with breast cancer and who are consuming a diet rich in low – fat dairy.
According to experts, ehe growth of breast cells is stimulated by the hormone estrogen. That includes the growth of hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer. It is important to mention that estrogen is produced and stored in fat cells. Majority experts agree that dairy products sold in the United States and other Western countries contain substantially increased amount of estrogen and progesterone. The explanation for that is that milk sometimes comes from pregnant cows. In addition to that, it is logically that low – fat dairy products contain lower levels of estrogen and progesterone as they’re stripped from most of the fat.
That is the reason why it is advisable for women diagnosed with breast cancer to avoid any full – fat dairy products and consume more low – fat ones. This is especially important for those patients who have hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer.
In addition to the above mentioned facts, experts had intention to prove if consuming full – fat dairy products really increases the possibility of breast cancer reappearance, and also the possibility of dying from breast cancer.

butter
pudding
ice cream
custard
flan
It is important to mention that participants included in this study were monitored over the course of 12 years and the results were quite shocking.
Namely, this study revealed that the participant who consumed one or more servings of full – fat dairy products every day have incredible 64% higher chance of dying from any factor and up to 49% higher chance of dying from breast cancer compared to the subjects who consumed only low – fat dairy products or less servings of full – fat dairy product daily.
Although these results are really shocking, it is important to take under consideration several other things before we jump into conclusions.
This particular actually study reveals a connection between full – fat dairy products and fatal breast cancer outcomes. Still, it doesn’t prove that the one necessarily leads to the other one. It is important to mention that more tests, experiments and researches are necessary in order to discover the real link between the two.
Until we get more detailed information on this subject, we advise every patient diagnosed with early – stage breast cancer to do everything he can in order to reduce the risk of reappearance and in same time to increase the possibility of survival.
