Lady offers unborn infant for N100,000
The Anambra State Police Order on
Thursday paraded a 29-year old lady
from Ebonyi state, Chidimma Support Okorie,
also, two medicinal specialist associates for
kid trafficking.
The specialists were Emmanuel Tobechukwu
also, Universe Ugorji.
Chidimma said she had sold two kids
since she was brought into the
"business" by a lady she recognized as an
evangelist.
She said, "I sold the two kids at N50,
000 each. I'm pregnant and the madam
said when I convey my child she would purchase
it for N100, 000.
"I have five youngsters however I'm not wedded,
what's more, I have not sold any of my youngsters, but rather
I have sold two kids, beginning with the
offspring of a minister that I first stole. I'm
pregnant and I have consented to offer it to
madam for N100,000 when I will convey of
the child."
She said the therapeutic specialists were making a difference
her in the trafficking on the grounds that they had
prepared business sector through a medical attendant that was still
on the loose.
She said, "Madam (Evangelist) brought
three of us(girls) from Ebonyi to Anambra
state and took us to an altar in Asaba
where she gathered our blood for voodoo
with the goal that we won't uncover to anyone the
kind of business we do".
She demanded that the two restorative specialists
helped her in the trafficking of the two
kids.
Speaking Dr Ugorji said he had not seen
Chidimma before and he had not done any
exchange with her.
Ugorji who said his healing center was situated at
Awada, Obosi, close Onitsha said the attendant,
presently everywhere, who Chidmma supposedly
named as his accessory in youngster trafficking
just went to his healing center to direct blood
test tests in his lab.
He said, "I have not done anything once more
with the medical caretaker blood test and I
don't have the foggiest idea about this young lady (Chidimma) in light of the fact that I
have not seen her some time recently. I was astounded
to see the police storm my clinic
recently (Wednesday) and was talking
about kid trafficking and today they
brought us here."
As far as concerns him, Dr Tobechukwu, who said his
clinic was at Nkpor, close Onitsha, said a
lady conveyed Chidimma to his clinic
for blood test.
"This lady (Chidimma) has a medicinal
condition, which I won't have any desire to examine
here. She was brought by one lady, who
said she was a medical caretaker. I didn't record
their locations since we didn't do any
treatment. What we did was blood test and
they cleared out.
" I'm from Enugu said and I'm working in
someone's healing center at Nkpor. I have
nothing to do with kid trafficking.
Parading the suspects at the Anambra
Police charge central command at Amawbia,
the Police Advertising officer, Nkeiru
Nwode said the suspects were captured on
Wednesday after a tip off.
She said Chidimma had come to Idoma
town in Umuoji, Idemili North of the state
what's more, stolen a four year old kid however fortunes ran
against her as individuals raised the alert and
she was secured.
The PPRO said before the episode
Chidimma had stolen a youngster having a place with a
minister in the state.
Nwode claimed that the specialists were
assistants who might interface the traffickers
to prepared markets.
She said two of the assistants, an attendant
what's more, a female evangelist, whose names were
not given at of press, were still on the loose.
